New project on the development of the Manual and piloting of the European system for quality assurance in breast cancer care

Today we are launching this European project funded by the European Commission Initiative on Breast Cancer on the Helpdesk for the development of the European Quality Assurance System Manual for Breast Cancer Care and Training Delivery, based on the Handbook, to the auditees and auditors involved in the pilot project.

The aim of this project is to support the implementation of the European QA scheme by developing a Manual for the audit of breast cancer care services or units in Europe (Breast Cancer Services-BCS) based on requirements, Indicators and reference documents provided by the QASDG and training for the centres that want to implement it and the professionals who must carry out the evaluation in order to ensure uniformity in its application and reliability of results.
