Dr. Rosa Suñol, new president of the Board of Trustees of the Avedis Donabedian Foundation.

Since April 1, 2018 Dr. Rosa Suñol is the new President of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation replacing Dr. Net, who has been President since its inception in 1989. All the members of the Board of Trustees have shown their support and recognition to Dr. Net for the task developed during these years that has been fundamental to consolidate the Foundation in the field of quality care at national and international level, highlighting especially his role in the creation of the Avedis Donabedian-UAB University Institute attached to the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Dr. Net becomes honorary patron of the Foundation.

Dr. Rosa Suñol begins a new professional stage at the head of the Board of Trustees of the Avedis Donabedian Foundation, while continuing to coordinate several research projects and other activities of the center. From now on, Dr. Joaquim Bañeres, until now Director together with Dr. Rosa Suñol, will exercise the functions of the General Management.

With these organizational changes, the Avedis Donabedian Foundation reaffirms its commitment to improve the care of people and wants to continue in the lines of service, innovation and research in health and social services developed so far with a vision of growth and future.
