Last face-to-face meeting of working groups involved in breast cancer initiative

Last May 20 and 21, the last face-to-face meeting of the working groups involved in the breast cancer initiative took place in Ispra (Italy) to give the final impetus to the work that is expected to be completed in 2020.

From the Avedis Donabedian Foundation, we support the implementation of the European QA scheme through the development of a Manual for the audit of breast cancer care services or units in Europe (Breast Cancer Services-BCS) based on the requirements, indicators and reference documents provided by the QASDG and training for the centers that want to implement it and the professionals who must perform the assessment to ensure uniformity in its application and the reliability of the results.

It is an initiative financed by the European Commission Initiative On Breast Cancer.
