Avedis Donabedian Foundation (FAD) seeks to recruit a technical research professional
The FAD is presenting a job offer for a technical-research professional to join national and international projects related to improving the quality and safety of care.
Duties
• Coordination and management of research and development projects
• Participation in the design of projects for national and international calls
• Coordination of teams and working groups
• Supervision and/or support in case recruitment, contact with centers, logistics, preparation of data collection forms, fieldwork, evaluation, and audits in organizations.
• Review and analysis of scientific literature.
• Preparation of manuscripts and support in the preparation of reports and scientific documents
• Interaction with other research teams, government institutions, and research institutions.
Requirements
• Education: Preferably a university degree related to health (Medicine, Nursing, or Psychology), with experience in technical and research tasks.
• A social science professional profile with experience in research at the European level will also be valued.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in research.
• Your interest and experience in developing quality indicators, accreditation and certification of centers, effectiveness of care, clinical practice guidelines, patient safety, person-centered care, and implementation research will be valued.
• Languages: English and Spanish, written and spoken, are essential (minimum C1)
• Willingness to travel for short periods within Spain and Europe
• Skills:
o Define and describe research designs and evaluation of healthcare services
o Review literature and prepare theoretical frameworks
o Structure and prepare scientific reports and documents
o Moderate and coordinate working groups
o Manage meetings
o Conduct critical literature reviews
o Conduct basic quantitative analyses
A plus will be:
• Experience and interest in:
o Managing research projects using national or European quantitative and qualitative methodologies
o Experience and/or training in accreditation, patient safety, person-centered care, and other areas of healthcare quality
o Preparing manuscripts and scientific articles
o Literature synthesis
o Preparing and managing clinical trials, preparing surveys
o Participating in the development or implementation of clinical practice guidelines
• Other skills: Ability to work in a team, organize and prioritize activities, and manage clinical practice guidelines Communication skills, empathy, and assertiveness.

• Training in the areas of healthcare quality, healthcare indicators, care safety, person-centered care, and patient empowerment.
• Integration into a multidisciplinary team with experience in managing research projects in healthcare and social services at the national and international levels.
• Leadership of projects in the area of healthcare quality at the European and national levels.
Work Location:
• Mixed option combining teleworking and in-person work at our headquarters (Provença 293, main street, 08037, Barcelona).
