Kick-off SAFEST
Improving Patient Quality and Safety in Surgical Care through Standardization and Harmonization of Perioperative Care in Europe (SAFEST)
This week in Barcelona, we celebrated the kick-off of our SAFEST project, which aims to improve adherence to standardized, evidence-based patient safety practices in perioperative care by 15% and reduce the incidence of surgical complications by 8% 18 months after surgery.
This project is funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe program (GA 101057825) and will be developed over the next four years with prestigious organizations with experience in the sector, such as:
