Retirement of Dr. Rosa Mª Saura

We recently celebrated the retirement of our Deputy Director, Dr. Rosa Mª Saura.

Rosa Mª holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona, ​​specializing in Preventive Medicine and Public Health from the University of Barcelona, ​​and a Master's degree in Healthcare Quality Methodology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

At our organization, she has spent the last 25 years leading national and international indicator design and evaluation projects, quality plans for various healthcare organizations, and various applied research projects on quality methodology. She has participated in the design of accreditation systems at the Spanish, European, and Latin American levels. She has been an evaluator in the Joint Commission International's International Accreditation Program for the accreditation of hospitals and continuity of care centers. She has also taught the Postgraduate Diploma and Master's Degree in Quality and Safety Management and Methodology in Healthcare, and numerous quality assessment methodology courses.

It's been a long journey in various areas of health, filled with challenges and successes. We're immensely proud to have shared all these years with her, and we hope she enjoys this well-deserved new stage in her life.
