Empattics project meeting

On October 17 and 18, 2016, the director of the FAD, Rosa Suñol attended in Paris a new meeting of the Empattics project, which seeks to increase the self-management of people with chronic diseases through the development of information technologies.

This project, funded by the Horizon 2020 program, is part of the PCP (Pre-Commercial Procurement) call.

Pre-Commercial Procurement is designed to target the development of solutions to specific public sector needs. Under Horizon 2020, the EU is increasing support for groups of public procurers working together on joint Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP).

Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) is the research and development procurement of new innovative solutions before they become commercially available. PCP works in conjunction with the Public Procurement of Innovative Solutions (PPI).

In the coming months, the Market consultation process will be launched.
