We are interested in translating the abstracts of the International Journal for Quality in Health Care.
The Avedis Donabedian University Institute is looking for potential stakeholders for the translation of the abstracts of the Isqua's International Journal for Quality in Health Care.
In line with its mission to improve quality and safety in the Ibero-American environment, the FAD has been involved for many years in the translation of the abstracts of the Isqua's International Journal for Quality in Health Care. This activity seeks to broaden the reach of scientific information to the Spanish-speaking sector, achieving positive results to date in terms of the impact achieved. At this moment, the abstracts in Spanish correspond to one of the most downloaded sections of the journal.
In order to maintain this activity over time and to give it a collaborative character, we are looking for possible interested parties in the translation of the abstracts.
Benefits of participation
Participation in the translation offers you the possibility of:
- Be part of a community of professionals interested in quality.
- Keeping up to date with the journal's publications.
- Learning the technical language in English and Spanish.
- Improve your knowledge on quality issues.
- Benefit from expert feedback within approximately 15 days after the translations have been completed.
- Exchange doubts and comments among the participants in the translations.
Commitment to participate
Participation in translation requires the following commitment from stakeholders:
- Participants review 1-3 abstracts every 1-2 months and receive feedback with external review of these abstracts.
- They must adhere to the journal's style guidelines that are provided to all reviewers.
- Participate in translation for a minimum period of 6 months, renewable every 6 months.
This activity is not remunerated.
