Presentation at international conferences of the pilot project on the implementation of the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) Methodology in Catalonia
IPS (Individual Placement and Support) is a job placement methodology for people with severe mental disorders, based on 8 key principles, which has proven its effectiveness through numerous studies (22 clinical trials).
This pilot project, which began in 2013, has promoted improved placement outcomes for the participating organizations, resulting in a higher percentage of people with severe mental disorders finding employment (in ordinary companies) and receiving support to maintain it.
The IPS model is currently implemented in Europe and the United States through the IPS International Learning Community since 2001.
We will present this experience at the 24th European Social Services Conference (June 20, 2016, in The Hague). We will discuss "Vocational rehabilitation that makes a difference: inspiring cases in Spain and The Netherlands". You can find the program here.
We recently also presented it at the 16th International Conference on Integrated Care (May 24, 2016, in Barcelona).
